What People's Say About Place

Absolutely delicious Halibut & Chips. The Halibut was deep fried perfectly. When I broke open one, I could see the halibut glisten. It was delicious. The prices are great. The Halibut Sliders have a sauce that has a little Kick to it! A must try

Ordered the halibut slider with sidewinder fries for lunch. The halibut was tasty and the seasonings in the sauce were enjoyable. Really enjoyed the fries! Asked about dining in at the brewery that this food truck is parked near as of late. Received a text when my food was ready and sat down in the tasting room to enjoy this meal paired with the current soda from Alaska Brewing Company.

Jeff was super friendly & the food was tasty! Will definitely be back! Been a few times since my original post and it's just as good as ever!! Update- the menu was updated since last visit, which isn't always a good thing. BUT in this case, it was! My kid loved the addition of the corn salsa on the tacos and I was so, so happy with my Ohio-style burger. All the burgers were new since last visit and we'll worth a try!

Halibut Fish and Chips! Need I say more. Okay, I will. These are the best chips/fries. They are thick cut curly fries/potato wedges. It was the first time I had them, and my mind is blown.

This is by far hands down the best Halibut in Juneau. One of the large alaskan fish and chips platters is enough to fill up me and my bf. ( we already ate half the halibut before taking pictures). Fair price and fast curbside service. Staff is friendly and the food is piping hot when you get it. Not greasy either. AMAZING. If you don't try their food while in Juneau you'll miss out on an outstanding hometown alaskan meal.

Updated 2024.09.04 Ordered their basic build your own burger for USD 11.50 asked for rare but still came out well done, still a pretty tasty burger for about the best price in Juneau for a good tasty burger. The fries accompanying it were more than plentiful and we split this order for two and and it was enough food to hold for at least a few hours. You are allowed to bring the food purchased into the brewery next door to also enjoy along with the beer there. Updated 2023.02.15 Visited again, quality is down, halibut was overcooked, dry, the chips tasted mealy, needed to be refried a second time. Must ask that halibut be pulled two minutes earlier from cooking if you want the halibut moist and not overcooked. The Wild Alaskan, located nearby Alaskan Brewery, is definitely hands down the place for your deep fried halibut fix. I did request that they pull the halibut two minutes early than normal as I want my protein not overcooked, to be juicy. I hate to pay for overcooked, dry protein. Window service, order, pay, and wait. Credit card payment accepted. When I got my order, I walked back to Alaskan Brewery with my food order to eat it there. The Alaskan Wild Alaskan Halibut and Chips has eight pieces of halibut along with chips for USD 24, to he Texas size is four pieces for USD 17. They also offer Alaskan king crab or halibut sliders.

Great tasting fish and chips! We went in the afternoon between the cruise crowds so there was zero wait. The fish and fries were cooked fresh and were piping hot! The chips are a bit bite sized so the 8 piece was not quite a meal to share.
